Chances are that your exhibit has T-intersections and 3- or 4-legged roundabouts. These can be more appropriately shown in the exhibit using intersection blocks that more closely represent those geometries. This tool can be used only after the current AutoCAD layout has been populated with intersection blocks and volumes. To use it, click on the "Junction Switch" button on the "TIAH Helper Data File Selection" toolbox (Main Toolbox) or select "Intersection Switch" from the TIAH drop-down menu. To change an intersection block to a T-intersection, check the "T" Junction box and click on the "Select Block" button. Proceed in a similar fashion to change an existing intersection block to a 3- or 4-legged roundabout symbol. Clicking on the "Select Block" button will allow you to point to the intersection block you wish to change. Once selected (the block will become highlighted), press Return or Spacebar to proceed to the next step. In the case of a 3-legged intersection, you will then be presented with the "Select Orientation" form (see blow). If switching to a 4-legged roundabout, TIAH will proceed directly to replacing the existing block with the default 4-leg roundabout block. |

Here you can specify which intersection approach is not present at this location. For example, selecting "No SB" will indicate to TIAH that this 3-legged intersection does not have a southbound approach, i.e. the north leg is not present. Click OK when done. TIAH will now replace the current intersection block with the one specified in this action. |
