Migrating a TIAH License to a Different PC
Your current TIAH license can be migrated to another computer. This is useful if you no longer wish to use TIAH on the machine on which it is currently installed and want to transfer your existing license to a different PC.
PLEASE NOTE: A nominal charge may be required to cover the administrative cost of processing the migration request which involves generating a new license file and record. Check the TIAH website for pricing.
In order to move (migrate) your existing TIAH 3.1, 3.2 or 4.x license to another PC:
1. Ensure that you have the current TIAH setup file (it can be downloaded from tiahelper.com)
2. On the TIAH main menu (the drop-down menu in AutoCAD's menu bar at the top of the screen), select "TIAH Registration".
3. Check the "Migrate License" checkbox and click on the "OK" button to begin the migration process.

4. This will enable the button labeled "Move License to Another Computer"

5. Click on the "Move License to Another Computer" button. You will now be presented with a Warning dialog before continuing. If you choose to go ahead with the migration, TIAH will only function in Demo mode on this computer. Select "Cancel" if you wish to exit without migrating you current TIAH license. Clicking "OK" will disable the current license for future use on this computer.

6. Once you have clicked "OK", you computer is now prevented from running TIAH, except in Demo mode. You will find a file in the "C:\Program Files\TIAH" directory named after your computer, starting with "TIAH-" and ending with "-UnReg.Txt". e.g. TIAH-MyComputerName-UnReg.Txt
7. Send this file along with the registration request from the PC where TIAH is intended to be used from now on, to register@tiahelper.com. Upon receipt of these two files and payment, we will generate a license file for the new PC. Please note that a new license file cannot be issued without first submitting the "-UnReg.Txt" file for verification purposes.
A more detailed step-by-step description of the license migration process is provided here.
