Symbol Selection

Clicking this menu item will launch the "TIA Helper Symbol Selection" toolbox, depicted below:

To select a different intersection volume symbol, click on the "INTVOL Blocks" tab in the middle of the toolbox and highlight the desired symbol.

Then click on the "Set As Current INTVOL Block" button to tell TIAH that the highlighted ⁄ selected symbol is the one to use.

The "TIA Helper Symbol Selection" toolbox is also used to select the type of arrows to use with the selected symbol. For example, the user can have several arrow types (e.g. thicker, thinner, different colors, etc) available. These can be selected from the "ARROW Blocks" tab in the "TIA Helper Symbol Selection" toolbox:

Note: not all arrow styles will work with all blocks.

The additional tabs to the right of the "ARROW Blocks" tab allow TIAH users to select the default blocks for T-intersections, and 3- and 4-legged roundabouts:
