Exporting Volumes from Excel - Generic Process
TIAH (release 3.0 and later) reads volume data saved by Synchro or Traffix directly and can use volumes stored in Excel (or another spreadsheet) through a simple export routine that results in a text file (or files) identical in format to a Traffix volume report. (Note that starting with release 3.2, TIAH reads Excel data tables directly). The following routine shows how Excel data can be used in any version of TIAH.
(1) In Excel, format your data columns like in the example below:

(2) Select and Copy the area shown above in blue to a temporary worksheet:

(3) Save the TEMP worksheet as a .PRN file:

(4) Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the PM peak data file (if applicable)
(5) (Optional) - rename the saved files to .TXT (from .PRN) and you are ready to use your volume data in TIAH.
Note that in this method you will need to tell TIAH that the source files are in Traffix format (if using TIAH 3.0 or later). If using an older (e.g. version 2.x) version of TIAH, simply use TIAH for Traffix (TIAH-T).
