Detailed License Migration Instructions

This section provides assistance in the migration of a TIAH license from one computer to another computer within the same office. Only users of TIAH V3.1.0 or later (e.g. version 3.2, 4.0) can take advantage of this utility. If you wish to migrate a TIAH license to another computer you must first upgrade the existing TIAH installation to TIAH V3.1 or later.

The current release of TIAH can be downloaded from tiahelper.com

Once TIAH is installed on your computer, please follow these few steps to migrate your license:

In the TIAH dialog, select the License Info menu item to display the registration information dialog.

The following window will appear (items are blocked out for obvious reasons) and you will need to check the box “Migrate License”.

You will be presented with the following addition to the above window. At this point, select the “Move License to Another Computer” button

This warning will appear. Make sure you understand the implications of un-licensing the TIAH program on this computer. Then select OK.

You will be notified where to find the Un-Reg file.

Select OK and then browse to the file:

C:\Program Files\TIAH\TIAH-xxxxx-xxxxxx-UnReg.Txt

and email that document to register@tiahelper.com. together with the license request file generated by TIAH on the computer to which the license is being moved (see Step 7 below).

Along with the UnReg file from the computer you are moving the license FROM, forward, at the SAME TIME, the TIAH-xxxxx-xxxxxx-Reg.Txt from the computer you want to license TIAH TO, to register@tiahelper.com.. Please include as the subject of the email “TIAH License Migration”.
